Ryan and I met in September of 1999 and we were married on September 23, 2005. We already had 2 cats and 1 dog but decided to add a second dog to the family shortly after we got married. We decided to expand again, and on September 23, 2007 Nathan was born. He was so beautiful and amazing that we knew we couldn't stop there; Aaron was born on August 22, 2009. So here we are, 4 pets and 2 wonderful and crazy boys later, and these are the moments we want to share and remember.

Uh Oh...
I'm very sad to say that the bear is back at Chick-Fil-A. We really thought that they took care of that.

Bears and Chickens
We took Nathan to the playground today and as I was walking around the tennis courts with him looking for balls (one of his favorite things to do) he says "Wook Mommy, Fowest. Bears in there". So I ask say "That's right, and what else lives in the forest". He looked up at me and very seriously said "chickens". "Oh" What else is there to say?
I feel like I've been laughing since he started talking.

Does it ever end?!?!
Today, Ryan and I were both home sick with the stomach bug. The kids, however, had as much energy as ever. We put Nathan down for his nap hoping to get a little rest ourselves, but Nathan never went to sleep. Ryan finally went to get him and yelled down "Rachel!!, you have to come see this". Well, I opened the door and this is what I saw.....
After throwing every one of his books around his room, he unzipped the cushion and took most of the stuffing out. He was so proud of himself.

Daddy's Home!!!
Ryan doesn't go out of town very often and when he does, it's not for long periods of time. But when he goes, he is greatly missed by all of us. He went to Mississippi for work. His first night was in Clarksdale which is the birthplace of the blues. Morgan Freeman owns a restaurant there so Ryan decided to check it out. Well, Morgan Freeman was there. Then yesterday he was taken to a blues bar that Morgan Freeman also owns and guess who was there.....yep....Morgan Freeman. No pictures were taken and he made no effort to speak to him. What a dork!! No, he was being respectful.
The boys and I had a great time together (minus Nathan's meltdowns last night that got him in bed at 7:15) but we were very excited to see Ryan when he got home. Nathan and Aaron were napping when he got here so we actually got to hang out on the porch for a while. Did I mention that the weather has been AMAZING? But when the boys woke up, It was play time!!
And then, this is what my kids were like WAY after bedtime tonight. I think we would let them stay up forever if they kept acting like this.
