It's hard to believe that this was Nathan wearing the same bear suit 2 years ago. It makes me want to cry a little.
Ryan and I met in September of 1999 and we were married on September 23, 2005. We already had 2 cats and 1 dog but decided to add a second dog to the family shortly after we got married. We decided to expand again, and on September 23, 2007 Nathan was born. He was so beautiful and amazing that we knew we couldn't stop there; Aaron was born on August 22, 2009. So here we are, 4 pets and 2 wonderful and crazy boys later, and these are the moments we want to share and remember.

Weekend at the Fair
Me and Nathan took off to Albany for the weekend with Grandmom. The fair was in town which meant LATE nights and lots of rides (of course I don't have any pictures of that) But Nathan did get to take part in a practice trick-or-treating while we were there and he also got to see lots of family.
On our way home we stopped by Mark's Melon Patch. It was of the most beautiful places to see in the fall. Sunflowers as far as you can see and tons of pumpkins. Not to mention the best boiled peanuts in the world.

Peek-a-boo
I just wanted to share the shining personality of Aaron. He is such a happy little guy!

Unfortunately, we had this little guy with the stomach bug in the next room

Challah Making
Nathan is learning so much in his new day school and they do so many fun activities. On Shabbat they say all the prayers and have Challah as their snack, so Nathan is becoming very familiar with all of the symbols and food that come along with the day. Recently, we got a book in the mail and it was filled with pictures of children making challah along with a recipe so, of course, Nathan had to do it. So, we waited for Aaron to take a nap and we started working, well, I started working and Nathan started playing. Despite the mess, we had a great time doing this together. We made 2 large challahs and 12 mini challahs for him to take to school for all of his friends. I can't say that it was the best challah I've ever had, but I think it was a good first try.

The many walks of Aaron
Aaron is really starting to try to walk now and I forgot how funny the learning process is. I love the arms and how it seems that they are doing all the work.

After the candles
Today at school the kids were learning about Shabbat. When asked what you do after you light the candles (the answer is say the blessing over the wine) the teacher held up a stuffed bottle of wine and Nathan shouted "you drink a beer"
Everybody loved it so much that Jenifer (the director of the school) came out to tell me about it in the carpool line, the teacher wrote about it on his daily note, and the other teacher emailed me about it. All were laughing by the way, not reporting us. With all these comments Nathan makes, people are going to start thinking bad things about us : )
